Dünyanın en büyük kanyonlarından biri olarak bilinen ve soğuk suları ile ünlenen Saklıkent Kanyonu, yoğun sıcaklarda serin atmosferi ile ziyaretçi akınına uğruyor.

Mevsim normallerinden 5-6 derece üzerinde olan hava sıcaklıkları Fethiye sakinlerini çare aramaya zorluyor. Fethiye'ye 45 kilometre uzaklıkta bulunan Saklıkent Kanyonu kalablık kitlelerin uğrak adresi haline geldi.

İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir gibi büyük şehirler ve diğer illerden Fethiye'ye gelen tatilcilerden Duygu Güzel, Cansu Türe, Şelale Yılmaz ve Gamze Ergün buz gibi suyun içerisinde ve kanyon çıkışında yaptıkları açıklamada "Tüm yılın yorgunluğunu attık. Burada huzur bulduk. Aşırı sıcak havanın kanyon içinde etkisi yok. Su çok soğuk. İyi ki istanbul'un sıcaklarından buraya kaçmışız." Derlerken, yabancı uyruklu tatilciler ise "Burası cennet. Kanyonda sıcaklığı hissetmiyoruz" diye konuştular. Kanyonda rehberlik yapan Veli Göksan ile Özgür Şappak ise "Saklıkent Kanyonunda rehberlik yapıyoruz. Bu kanyon 18 kmdir. Sadece 2 kmsinde rahat gezilebilir. Eğlenceli ve maceralı bir kanyondur. Biz burada sağlık ve güvenlik amacıyla rehberlik yapıyoruz. Kanyona rehbersiz girilmemesi gerekir. Çünkü yukarıdan taşlar düşebilir. Kimse görmezse yardım götürülemez. Zaman zaman 3-4 metre yükseklikte kayalıklara halatla tırmanıyor ve iniyoruz" dediler
